Jubi Jia earned her Bachelor of Design in Fashion Communication from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Bengaluru, India. Additionally, she holds a Master’s certificate in Fashion Marketing and Communications from Polimoda, Firenze, Italy. Following her extensive corporate background with leading fashion retailers, experiencing global climate shifts, and societal changes, and travels abroad, Jubi Jia became compelled to address the widespread unsustainable practice of the Fashion Industry. Rather than supporting the commercial facets of the Industry proactively, she opted to empower the deeper meanings of aesthetics. As she remains passionate about Arts and Fashion, Jubi Jia also wishes to contribute to the world through her thoughts and desire for storytelling in various aspects of Creativity, Lifestyle, and Culture, which is the basis for Jia’s Journal.

Jubi Jia considers herself an Old Soul with a Gypsy Heart who writes about societal functions, elements of fashion & art, informative cultural tourism, thought-provoking movies & series, and every wandering road she takes. This little dreamer grew up in the Assam valley of Eastern India, a tea estate encompassed by the River Brahmaputra, aspiring to explore the world and experience foreign cultures and ancient traditions while discovering its secrets.
As her tagline declares, “believing in the power of curiosity,” she explores and demonstrates her opinions through Content Marketing, Visual Communication, Social Trend Research, and Editorial Journalism.
